Patient 1
Patient's Story: A partial ear reconstruction was performed on this 29 year old gentleman who had the outer third of his ear bitten off in a fight. A rib cartilage graft was used to reconstruct the ear framework and a skin flap was taken from the tissue behind the ear to complete the reconstruction. The final result demonstrates a new helical rim and scapha that appears completely normal at conversational distance.
Patient 2
Patient's Story: An otoplasty was performed on this 10 year old boy who was struggling with bullying and harassment at school due to the prominent nature of his ears. Normal ear folds were created and the ears were set back in order to simply remove the distraction.
