A breast lift is a surgical procedure that raises the breast by repositioning the nipple areola complex and removing excess skin. This procedure allows Dr. Morin to tighten the tissue around the breast, which reshapes and supports a beautiful new breast shape. Many women experience drooping breasts that have lost their firmness and shape. This can be due to several reasons such as pregnancy, breastfeeding, significant weight loss, aging, genetics or the simple effect of gravity over time. If a woman develops an enlarged areola, this can be addressed during the breast lift procedure as well.
It is important to note that breast lift surgery does not alter the overall breast size in a significant way. It also does not significantly affect the appearance or fullness of the upper part of the breast.
